Experienced Team

We believe that our children deserve the best, which is why our teachers are highly qualified and driven to provide the best care possible. We hand-select our staff based on their understanding of Te Whāriki and if their nurturing qualities fit within the culture of Kiddos. Our belief is that if our teachers are happy, our children will be happy too.

Multicultural Centre

We are a vibrant childcare that believes the diversity of our teachers and children are our strength. Our staff are proficient in English, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Tagalog. With knowledge of various other cultures, we instil a sense of belonging in our children, celebrating their heritage and teaching them about others.

Nutritious Meals

With an in-house cook that is NSF qualified, we provide daily meals for our children. We believe a child's diet plays an instrumental role in their development and mood, which is why we ensure the food we provide is nourishing and healthy. We are able to cater towards allergies (lactose intolerance, gluten free, nut allergy etc) and dietary needs (including Halal).

Robust Facilities

Our centre is well-equipped to meet the needs of your child. With multiple outdoor areas, we understand the importance of your child interacting with nature. Indoors, we have three rooms curated for your child's development journey. Our transition program between the rooms is centred around where your child is at with their development and their comfort, rather than strictly relying on age.

Our daughter has attended Kiddos Takapuna (formerly Lollipops) for the past year and we can’t thank the team enough for the wonderful care. The centre manager and staff have created a warm and caring environment that promotes learning, play, friendship and celebrates the multicultural diversity of all the children at the centre. Our experience with Kiddos (formerly Lollipops) has been a wonderful experience. We have two children enrolled one part time and one full time. My 3yo who attends full time is always excited to get to daycare which as a parent is always a relief, the teachers are attentive and always eager to explore the kid’s imagination. Our son comes home only speaking highly of his kaiako. He’s bonded with all of them beautifully. The staff are always willing to support and listen to our needs as a family and cater to our unique needs as I’m sure they do for every other family too. It’s lovely walking in to cheerful people and laughter every morning. My 7 month old attends a few mornings a week and his kaiako are extremely reassuring and supportive not only to him but to me, a mother, as well. We are so glad to have a great support network in the form of a daycare. I would recommend Kiddos (formerly Lollipops’s) a thousand times over.

Just over 4.5 years ago we had to make one of the hardest decisions in our lives which was to place our one year old daughter into day care full time. Our biggest concern was for Milan to be in a safe and loving environment, and one thing can certainly say is we got lot more than we expected! Placing Milan in [Kiddos] Takapuna was the best decision we ever made, mainly because of the people who work there, the culture they have created, and the values they teach and embed. We credit the teachers for the invaluable input they have made towards Milan’s learning, development and growth. They have really supported and aided her in reaching all her key
milestones over the years which has prepared her well for primary school next year. Our youngest daughter Ava is in the babies’ room and has been there for almost a year. We can see she has formed such a strong sense of belonging and this has been created by the level of care she has received. [Kiddos] Takapuna has become a second home for both my
girls, this has allowed us to work worry free knowing they are both with people we trust and respect.
